End With The Firsts

Two years ago I decided to do something different than the traditional and expected end-of-year goal re-evaluation. Somehow, reviewing how I did on my goals wasn’t very reassuring nor an accurate reflection of my accomplishments for the year. Rather, every year I would stare at my goal list with a bit of discouragement and embarrassment. My paper always lacked many coveted checkmarks next to the high hopes and ideals I had for my year.
